Hands creating the future!
Lend a hand in the future of your library. Our community is growing. We have a need to expand our library, and you have the opportunity to leave your mark on the new addition. This expansion will create space for our children's storytimes and craft sessions, and it will also serve the need for more community meeting rooms.
The 1250 square foot addition to the children's room will provide much-needed space for our future generations. Your contribution today will make a direct difference in our library's future.
Handprints in the library
To recognize your gift to the library, the outline of your hand or that of a loved one will be cut from anodized aluminum and personalized with the engraving of your signature. You can also donate anonymously, or you can give a gift on behalf of someone else, and the library will send them instructions on how to create their hand tracing. Your handprint will then be mounted in the beautiful new Children's/Community Room wing.
Memorialize your family name, remember the life of a loved one, pay tribute to a special person in your life or recognize your business. Create a permanent family memento by tracing the hand of your child, grandchild or parent.
Children's handprints will be mounted in the new room on a tree branch as leaves. The hands of teens, adults and businesses will be mounted in a stylized wave along the wall.
